We will explore current opportunities across Canadian and global bond markets, revisit key concerns from the 2022 bond market selloff, and examine how evolving industry dynamics, including CRM3 and the growing use of ETFs, are shaping advisor and client conversations.

In this session, we will cover:

  • The latest developments in the Canadian fixed income market, and what they mean for portfolio positioning
  • How to address lingering concerns following 2022, with context on today’s economic and interest rate environment
  • The impact of CRM3 on advisor-client conversations, and how advisors are balancing active mandates with low-cost ETFs for stability, diversification and to lower overall portfolio fees

You will leave with insights on the current fixed income landscape, the important role bonds play in portfolio construction, and strategies for building a diversified bond portfolio positioned for success in the evolving CRM3 environment.
